MSDs (Musculoskeletal Disorders) are the leading cause of compensation for occupational illness in France. These diseases affect muscles, tendons and joints. In the workplace, they are caused by repetitive movements, unsuitable workstations/tools, the carrying of heavy loads, extreme stress on joints, etc., and account for 87% of occupational illnesses.
THE TMS PROS PREVENTION PROGRAM
The prevention of MSDs represents a major social and economic challenge. The Assurance Maladie has made this a priority, and is helping companies to implement measures to combat it through the "TMS Pros" subsidy program.
2 CUMULATIVE SUBSIDIES
- All companies with between 1 and 49 employees are eligible.
- TMS Pros grants take the form of subsidies.
Helps VSEs/SMEs finance MSD prevention diagnostics and/or staff training to implement MSD prevention projects.
With a ceiling of €25,000 , this grant covers 70% of the following services (excluding VAT):
- Training a company employee to implement an MSD prevention project.
- Carrying out an ergonomic study of work situations, to establish an MSD prevention diagnosis and an action plan detailing the solutions to be implemented.
Applications are accepted within the limits of the budget allocated to this financial aid at regional level.
Helps VSEs/SMEs finance materials and/or equipment that effectively reduce RSI.
With a ceiling of €25,000 , this grant covers 50% of the cost of the following services, excluding VAT:
- Purchase of material/equipment to reduce MSD risks.
- Adapted training for employees working in MSD-risk jobs.
A diagnosis and action plan for an MSD prevention project must be carried out beforehand to be eligible (financed by "TMS Pros Diagnostic").
- Applications are accepted within the limits of the budget allocated to this financial aid at regional level.
- Applications for "TMS Pros" grants are submitted to the regional health insurance funds (Carsat, Cramif or CGSS).

MAC3 PRODUCTS
At MAC3, the design of our pneumatic tools effectively combats the RSI caused by conventional chipping hammers and chisels. MAC3 tools significantly reduce and limit joint and muscular stress on arms, shoulders, elbows, wrists and hands.
Pain can be caused by repetitive movements, awkward positions or excessive effort (e.g. wrists are the most affected body part, accounting for 38% of MSDs recorded).
The P5/P7/P9* stitchers and BB20/BB25/AIRGO* demolishers are part of the "TMS Pros" program supported by the French health insurance scheme, and are eligible for simplified funding.
