Cutting-edge technology: the PSA system
MAC3 nitrogen generators are based on the pressure swing adsorption (PSA) principle. Compressed air is first filtered and pre-treated toremove impurities. It then passes through a column containing a carbon molecular sieve (CMS) that traps oxygen molecules and allows only nitrogen to pass through. Thanks to an alternating cycle of adsorption and regeneration, nitrogen is produced stably and continuously, with a very high level of purity. This technology guarantees reliable, economical and perfectly controlled production .
