New MSP5000 Stage V Compressor
At the beginning of 2021, MAC3 follows regulatory trends by introducing its new MSP5000 compressor, delivering 5000 L/min at 7 bar, equipped with a Stage V engine that complies with the latest anti-pollution standards.
Externally, this new MSP5000 looks identical to the previous model. However, it features several new characteristics developed after many months of R&D work carried out by our teams and includes numerous improvements.

MSP5000 Stage V Improvements
First improvement: the engine
Remaining loyal to its long-standing partner, MAC3 naturally chose a KUBOTA engine.
The V1505-T engine (31 kW) is equipped with a diesel particulate filter (DPF) but does not require AdBlue.
Second improvement: the weight
To ensure it can be towed by as many vehicles as possible, the MAC3 MSP5000 compressor weighs less than 750 kg, whether in the standard version, the PREMIUM version (with liquid retention tray), or when equipped with an aftercooler.
Third improvement: accessibility
Although Stage V engines introduce numerous constraints, MAC3 has managed to develop a model that remains compact while allowing easy access to maintenance components. The faster the maintenance, the less downtime for the compressor.
Fourth improvement: the control unit
An electronic controller has been integrated into the control panel. While it is mandatory to manage the engine, MAC3 has made it simple and intuitive to use.
This controller allows users to easily operate the compressor, manage the DPF regeneration, and efficiently monitor the machine’s maintenance.
This latest MSP5000 model perfectly completes the MAC3 range of mobile compressors from 2000 to 5000 L/min, all compliant with the latest anti-pollution regulations.
And as always, like its smaller models, this compressor is manufactured in France, in our factory located in the Loire region.
Stage V Regulation
The Stage V standard in Europe and Tier 4 in the United States are regulations designed to protect the environment and safeguard users’ health.
In force since January 2019, these regulations apply to diesel engines used in non-road mobile machinery, such as mobile construction compressors.
In practical terms, the new Stage V engines used in MAC3 compressors are designed to significantly reduce microparticle emissions. These particles have been identified by the World Health Organization (WHO) as contributing factors to lung diseases and cardiovascular disorders.
Despite being cleaner, these engines maintain the same level of performance and reliability as their predecessors.
The transition of the entire MSP range to Stage V technology perfectly aligns with MAC3’s product development policy implemented for many years. Through its Planet & People Care values, the company focuses on developing innovative products that respect both the planet and users, such as:
- the AIRGO anti-vibration breaker
- the PAC3000 air pick
- the VDT dust extractor
